House rules
Welcome to The Celi Residence! You are staying in 1 of 2 standard rooms in our residence. and We? We’re here to provide you with a great stay. The reality? 80% of our guests would probably never need to read these rules to follow them. But we believe in transparency, so we lay them out clearly for all 100% of our guests. That way, everyone has a fair chance to understand what’s expected and ensure they’ll enjoy their stay.
All right, now that we got the pleasantries out of the way... So, I’m glad you’re here, and we can’t wait to host you in our residence. Most of the time, there’s free coffee and tea in the kitchen if you want to pour yourself a cup. In your room, when you arrive, there will also be two water bottles—just in case you get in late and don’t feel like going downstairs to grab a drink from the fridge. But let’s be clear: this is a shared home, not a free-for-all. So now, 20 percenters, here are the The Celi Residence House Rules.
General House Rules
Yes, This is a Shared Home – You’re booking a private room in a shared residence. That means you don’t get to take over the entire place. Be respectful, keep your stuff in your space, and remember: you are not the main character here.
No Sneaky Extra Guests – Trying to slide in an extra person without paying? Nope. We’ve got eyes everywhere. If we don’t catch you the first night, our team will in the morning. You will be charged, and we’ll happily show you the door.
No Visitors. Ever. – Don’t even ask. No, your friend can’t come help you carry your bags. No, your "cousin" can’t stop by for five minutes. If they weren’t part of your reservation, they aren’t stepping foot inside.
Quiet Hours: 10PM - 7AM – This is a shared home, not a nightclub. If you’re loud when others are trying to sleep, expect glares, complaints, and potentially an early checkout.
No Smoking, No Vaping, No E-Cigs – Want to set off alarms and annoy everyone? Smoke inside. Otherwise, use the designated area outside like a responsible human.
No Pets – Love your furry friend? Great. Keep them at home.
No Parties, No Events, No Shenanigans – If you want to throw a party, book a venue. This is not that venue.
Kitchen & Common Area Rules
No Outside Cookware – We supply all the kitchen tools you need. Bringing your own pots, pans, and utensils is unnecessary and not allowed.
Clean Up Immediately After Use – That means right after you eat, not 10 minutes later. Our goal? A clean kitchen at all times. Tons of our 5-star guests do it. So can you.
Shared Fridge Rules – It should not be needed to label your food, but if you feel like it, and you brought a marker with you, go right ahead and label it. But again, if it ain’t yours, and it does not have your name, don’t claim it.
Common Areas Are for Everyone – Don’t spread your stuff all over the place and act like you own it. Be mindful. Be considerate.
Bathroom & Laundry Rules
Shared Bathrooms Exist – If you don’t have a private bathroom, don’t take forever in the shared one. Clean up after yourself. Nobody wants to deal with your mess.
Towels & Linens Stay Here – Do not take them with you. They don’t need to see the world.
Laundry Use – Staying over 2 days? Cool, you can use the laundry. Just don’t monopolize it like you’re running a laundromat.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-In: After 4:00 PM – You’ll get instructions. Follow them. It’s not rocket science.
Check-Out: By 10:00 AM. No Late Check-Outs. We’re a premium service, and our rates are low enough that if you need extra time, book an extra night.
Smart Locks & Access Codes – No keys here. Everything is automatic. Your 4-digit pin is yours alone—sharing it is a safety violation. If you give it out, the Fora Rule applies (see below).
Fora Rule: We reserve the right to cancel your reservation immediately if you break any house rules—with or without proof. If our team suspects a violation, that’s all we need.
Security & Safety
Lock Your Doors – Smart locks work only if you close the door. Shut it properly, and you’re good.
No Letting Strangers In – If someone claims, "I forgot my code," or "I’m staying here too," do not let them in. You’re a guest here, not security. Leave that to us.
Respect Our Team & Other Guests – If you’re rude to our staff, our partners, or other guests, you’ll be asked to leave. No refunds, no exceptions.
Listen up, paparazzi wannabes—this ain’t a reality show, and we’re not running a surveillance state. Recording or snapping pics in common areas? Not without explicit, written permission from yours truly or my trusted co-host. Why? Because people deserve privacy, security, and the freedom to scratch their nose without ending up on someone’s TikTok.
Caught breaking this rule? Boom—your stay is terminated on the spot. No discussion, no “but I didn’t know.” Don’t like it? Call your booking platform, and please book somewhere else next time.
Exterior Security Cameras Are Active – For everybody’s safety. Don’t test us.
Breaking House Rules
Breaking the Residence Rules? Bye!
Not really - Not really—mistakes happen, and we get it. Sometimes a rule is broken inadvertently or for reasons beyond control. When that happens, we’ll let you know, and as long as you acknowledge it and move forward responsibly, we’re all good.
However, some rules have zero wiggle room. If you cross the line, the Fora Rule applies—meaning we may without notice contact the booking platform through which you made your reservation and end your stay immediately at our discretion.
Be cool. Be kind. Be a guest, not a problem. Simple.
Cancellation Policy
The refund policy is what you selected when you booked—it’s not negotiable.
Non-refundable booking? That’s exactly what it is—non-refundable. Asking for a refund won’t magically change it.
Uncertain plans? You have options: book a refundable rate (costs a little more, but gives peace of mind) or buy travel insurance (Airbnb and most OTAs offer it).
